About Allan Greening (vk3pa)
 Allan is only a beginner when it comes to the internet, but has been in to Amateur radio since 1964 when he started to get his licence. When Allan got his first call sign of vk3zsr the interest took off. |
After just a couple of years in to Amateur radio with vk3zsr, Allan changed his call sign to vk3wu, which he had until the beginning of the 80's. Allan lost interest in the good old "ham radio" and took a break for a couple of years from Amateur radio and finally decided to give it another go in the mid 80's. Allan tried in vain to get his old call sign (vk3wu) back when he decided to come back to Amateur radio. Allan wasn't able to do this, hence why he now has vk3pa. Apart from Amateur radio, his has a keen interest in Classic Motorcycling, as pictured here.
